J-Cast JoliArts were opening their fourth nail salon in Tokyo and first in the Shangri-La Tokyo Hotel and wanted my help to brand their online look and launch a multi-lingual website.

Hello. My name is Katherine Delorme. I design, code and build websites. When I am off the clock, I dedicate part of my day to honing my craft. Collaborating with creatives across the globe. And taking part in several meetups related to design and code in Orlando. I also volunteer time to help build up the next generation of female developers.
To be honest, I started out in the backend but have gone over to the dark side, or should I say front side. While working in frontend development I became intrigued about user interface and user experience. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media - Web Design from the University of Central Florida with four years in the field experience. I have done website redesigns for companies such as Digital Risk and the University of Central Florida. I've worked abroad as a web designer in Japan. I've been contracted by design agencies like Knight Agency for projects and companies such as VCreative. I study Japanese and lead a Japanese meetup group.
I was brought in to create a new UI for the employee web app. In addition to the new corporate website. I am also helping to build their design process.
I created UI designs to transform the company's website by evaluating their brand, conducting user research, and comparing market competitors.
WordPress and responsive html email development. Styled the UI/UX design for an Angular web app. Mockup with Sketch App and helped develop with scss.
Created the new website for the LUXITA brand nail salon. Aided in the development of the social media marketing plan. Created branded presentations.
Responsible for maintaining 6 websites which included the corporate and careers website. Redesigned the corporate website.
Redesigned the school’s official website replacing the outdated site.
