Hello, I'm Katherine Delorme. I'm an Aquarius. I'm currently studying Japanese. Oh, and the main reason you're here, I'm a UI/UX designer. I connect my design and development skills with research and analytics to craft magic.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media - Web Design from the University of Central Florida with 10 years of experience in the field. I've worked in back-end and front-end web development, and the knowledge I've gained through these experiences helps me communicate effectively with teams while conducting UX research and developing UI designs.
Understanding the tools, limitations, and effort involved development helps me make informed design decisions and become a better communicator and collaborator with other developers.

Crafting code in the backend taught me about the functionality and logic required to make a project work. I then shifted to frontend development, which allowed me to further develop my design skills. As I designed, I began to think more deeply about the user experience and how people interact with the products I was creating.
That curiosity led me to the field of UI/UX research and design. Discovering the impact an interface can have on the overall user experience has greatly influenced the way I think and approach design. My goal is to apply these skills and perspectives to future digital products and applications.
